March 27, 2008 · 16 Comments

Not too much chatter tonight, folks. Just eat your envious hearts out.
Someone got to know which all laptops my girlfriends are planning to get for me in the future. Full story here.

Just enjoy the pictures! Click on ‘em to get the full impression. Go ahead, do it!
Even better, read the original article. It is very interesting indeed, and I strongly recommend it.

    Doc,

Without making it too risqué, I think there are some critical spelling errors in the names of the gifts you anticipate from your laptop girlfriends.

In the first one, the third and the fourth letters “-as-” need to be inserted. In the second, letters 3-5, “-lda-”, are missing. In the third you seem to have forgotten a crucial “-s-” close to the end of the word.

OOPS! Sorry, didn’t realise this post was meant only for “wonderful gals”.

Correction: The missing letters in the first case are “-sa-”, not “-as-”. Alternatively, “-as-” should be at nos. 2 and 3.

Those are some amazing laptops which hopefully will become a reality in the near future.

What? No Macs on your wishlist?

  • rambodoc // March 31, 2008 at 6:16 am

    Nancy:
    I, too, wondered about that.
Apple probably does not believe in sharing its vision or concept computers with the non-paying public! :-)
    All:
    Thanks for your comments.

So have we all be relegated to the status of “past” girlfriends. What a world of consumerism and disposable friendships we live in.

So have we all be relegated to the status of “past” girlfriends.? What a world of consumerism and disposable friendships we live in. Obsolescence rate seems to be getting as high as that in electronics. mm

    Usha,

Relax. All is not lost. A carrot of a laptop can land you back in favour. The original article that led Doc into temptation is five whole days old — in IT terms that’s geological time. Update, and you are once more in the running :-) . From “past” to “future” is just a click away.

  • usha // March 31, 2008 at 3:11 pm

Vivek: Thanks. i feel soooo much better already. :)

    Usha:
Your blog name says it all: there is an Ageless Bonding between us that transcends laptops and girlfriends (both of which must, however, be given due respect and position)! ;-)
